INWG respond to DESNZ review of ETSU-R-97 The INWG responded in August 2025 to the government consultation on the draft changed ETSU-R-97 guidance. The draft changed guidance is a life extension of the existing ETSU-R-97 guidance but with greater leniency towards the wind industry and even less protection for the public.

Landmark ruling against Bald Hills wind turbines 25th March 2022 saw a landmark ruling against Bald Hills Wind Farm Pty who were found to be causing a noise nuisance. Bald Hills Wind Farm Pty Ltd were ordered to pay damages and aggravated damages to the plaintiffs and a nighttime injunction has been applied to the turbines.
